The Academy’s dress code encourages student discipline and allows instructors to better see the student’s line and position.
Ballet Program:
Ballet levels are identified by a specific color and style of leotard. Tights should be worn inside the ballet shoe. Hair must be in a proper bun (tightly secured with bobby pins and a hair net, if necessary; no loose ponytails or bangs). No jewelry.
You can purchase required leotards and dance shoes at Just Relevé located at 1155 Yellowstone Avenue, (phone: 220-0275).

*Ballet and Pointe Shoes:
Levels 7-Pre Pro are required to wear split sole canvas ballet shoes by Sansha (no leather).
Levels 8-Pre Pro are required to have pointe shoes.

For ballet, hair must be in a proper bun (tightly secured with bobby pins and a hair net, if necessary). For all other classes, hair can be in a bun or tightly pulled back ponytail. No jewelry.

Open Program:
Hair must be in a proper bun (tightly secured with bobby pins and a hair net, if necessary). A tightly pulled back ponytail is acceptable for jazz, hip hop and acro. Absolutely NO jeans or street clothes are allowed. No jewelry.
